Hi, I’m Sean.
I was supposed to be a writer. I got my English degree, I figured I’d go to Boston or New York, get a job with a publishing firm, grow a goatee, I even got one of those blazers with patches on the elbows. Then FIU said I owed them one credit to graduate, so I stuck around for another six months.
I talked my way into a magazine Editor position, which would suffice for the time being. Then the publisher fired his Art Director, called me into his office and said, “sit down, I’m going to teach you desktop publishing,” which he did.
Six months later it was 17 degrees in New York City, even colder in Boston, and I saw a Graphic Designer job being advertised in sunny Key Biscayne. I spent two years there getting much better at design, good enough to take a crack at freelancing, which I did, and I secured Benihana as a client.
The VP of Marketing for Benihana asked if I’d like to come in-house to learn about Marketing. There I spent 14 years working with great people and gaining invaluable experience.
At every stop I’ve had the opportunity to learn more and more, which I did. Now I want to bring my experience to your company, to help you reach your customers and create a brand experience they can’t resist. And I’d love to see what I can learn from you.
